I started T.V. production my freshmen year of high school. During my sophomore
year I held an A average in production classes and advanced quickly. In high school I took two years of computer graphics
and photography, I learned how to use Adobe Photo Shop. My sophomore and junior
years of high school I was asked to set up and film many live web casts that aired over the Fairfax County Public Schools
web page, which countywide could be accessed by over 300 schools. The beginning of my junior year I started advanced T.V.
production classes at West
Potomac High
School. I produced the school news cast which aired live everyday.
When I started my senior year I began at a new school with advanced placement T.V. production classes. Under the guidance
of my teacher, Phil Harris, I was asked to join his business, Digital Wave Productions. I did filming for the entire Fairfax
County Public
School system. For most on sight assignments I was crew chief,
teaching first year T.V. production students to do what I was doing. I was also chosen to join other elite students of the area to intern at MHz Networks. During my internship
I set up, wrote show ideas and plans for Open.TV. I also participated in set design
and lighting. I acted as floor director and camera operator. I also worked as on screen talent. During my internship I was
a part of multiple interviews. One of which included interviewing the entire Washington Capitals Hockey Team. I helped promote
major motion pictures including Bend it like Beckham, Ghosts of the Abyss and X-Men 2. MHz Networks allowed me to help on
another one of their productions, MHz Presents. For this production I filmed bands
for upcoming episodes. Some of the bands were little known local bands to bands known worldwide including Linkin
Park and Six Pence
None the Richer.
